Freedom of Azeroth

F.A.Q. & Guild Rules

Below I will do my best to Answer some frequently asked questions, as well as cover guild rules as well. Well, here we go!

  • How can I join your Guild? Freedom of Azeroth is listed on World of Warcraft’s Guild Recruiter. Simply click on the guild banner. Search for our name, and click to join. You may email me at [email protected] to let me know that you have applied.
  • Are there any requirements to join?  No, we accept all levels of experience within the game. We have no problem helping people who have never played learn the ins and outs of Warcraft.
  • What are the Guild expectations? Treat everyone with respect. No drama and keep conversations with Guildies appropriate.. (Zero Harrassment).
  • Can I have alts in the Guild?   Absolutely! Many of our guildies have alts. All are welcome, just please keep them active.
  • Do you have a Discord Channel?  Yes we do. Simply click on the Icon at the top right corner of the website to join.
  • What are your Discord Rules?  On the top left of the Discord channel, under New Recruits is a code of conduct tab. Read and follow those rules please. It will cover channel usage, behavior, and ask that your Discord name match your Main Character name from Warcraft for less confusion. Or have it in (  ) next to your name.
  • Is there a Guild Ranking System, and how do I get promoted?  Yes there is. Everyone’s main will start at the rank of Squire.  After One Month of active play and solid behavior towards others, our officers will meet (once per month) to discuss members up for promotion. If promoted, you will become a Footman. Requirements to rise to the next rank of Knight is 2-3 months of play and good behavior (case by case basis). During the next 3 months as a knight, consider if you would prefer to do more In game content (Questing, Casual play, Delves, Mythic plus, etc.) or Player vs. Player. Those that want a PvP experience can become a Berserker, and those PvE will become a Vanguard. Upon receiving this rank, your Main will receive, on the guild website, a character badge next to your bio, instead of the Guild insignia. Any officer promotions are rare and only considered in an officer meeting of those who do not ask for leadership, but instead exude that character.
  • What do i do, if I have a guild issue?    Reach out to me, Mythoren. It can be through Discord messaging, Email, or in-game mail. I prefer the other officers not be bothered. However, if I am not available, reach out to one of them, and they will contact me.
  • Do I have to do PvP, Mythic +, or Raids? No. This guild wants to respect your style of play. Social interaction is always a blast with this crew, but we realize that this game should be a relaxing escape. We will respect your gaming time. Please do the same for others. Do not spam requests for help. Nicely ask a person once, but if they prefer not to, it is not a jilt towards you. Some people love to Help and do group activities, others may just want to solo (but enjoy having a group supporting them.) Also, sometimes a player’s game availability is limited due to work or family life.
